As you walk from the visitor centre pass the breathtaking Pontcysyllte Aqueduct you will come to a bend where the river is slightly widen. Here sits a charming little cafe up the slope called Canalside Cafe. Its colourful flower garden decorated with ornaments and water feature, stylish check tablecloth, parasol and garden furniture, making it the perfect place to enjoy homemade cakes and sandwiches with a cup of tea in some lovely china. If there is ever a 'Wonderland' garden here it is! The lady of the establish is ever so friendly and we had a very afternoon.
